Stuart Aaron Ott serves as the Deputy Associate Chief Information Officer for the Bureau of Indian Education. He has been with the Department of the Interior working in various capacities since March 1991. Stuart is so glad to be serving Native American children and the BIE schools as their Information Technology advocate. Prior to this role, Stuart spent 17 years in the Department's Office of the Chief Information Officer where he served as Deputy Division Chief for Enterprise Infrastructure, Chief of the National Radio and Spectrum Program Office, Chief as the Solutions Delivery Division and lastly as the Chief of the Enterprise Infrastructure Services Section which provides Department-wide Wide Area Network and other enterprise telecommunication services. Stuart has additionally served in the Bureau of Indian Affairs both in Information Technology programs and the Office of Trust Responsibilities as well as in the Office of Indian Education Programs where he led team efforts supporting the establishment of the Education Native American Network (ENAN). Stuart resides in Springfield, VA along with his spouse, Theresa and their tenacious pug, Johnny Rocket. Stuart is also an established musician and composer with over 100 releases in both single and album forms.
