Emma Gautier is a researcher for the Community Broadband Networks initiative of the Institute for Local Self-Reliance. She supports data collection, analysis, tool building, research, and writing within the broadband initiative. Emma has a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies from Carleton College, and before ILSR worked in research and evaluation, youth organizing, and policy advocacy. She is interested in synthesizing research and theory work with work in communities.
